Review

As I mentioned the best part of the Brunch is the location, if you are into old architect and history. The food was not that great, nothing spectacular for the price you pay. This was however our one and only visit to this brunch so we may try and visit again to see if may just a bad day. I would suggestion you go and enjoy the Mission Inn, then go somewhere else for Brunch. If you have the extra money, give it a try. E-mail us and let us know what you think and let us know of other places in So Cal to brunch.

Price

Nice place to go, it has a lot of history behind the Mission Inn and it is enjoyable to walk around, however the Brunch is pricey at $39

Variety of Food

They have many food stations, Hot food like the usually bacon, scrambled eggs, hash brown potatoes, different chicken dishes (kind of dry), sausage (looks like brown and serve),small ribeye steaks (well over cooked), mash potatoes, rice and other dishes. Seafood station with snow crab, oysters and shrimp, Omelets station just ok and fresh made eggs Benedict. They have a large variety of salads, and a large desert area. The most disappointing part is the carving station, where the serve tough roast beef, instead of prime rib, and the turkey looked way over done, so not many people were eating it. For my wife the best part was the sushi, but for all of us at the table, the Brunch is not worth the price, we were all very disappointed.

Service

Service started slow and we had to flag our server down and let her know what we all wanted to drink. About 1 hour into dinning she took a break, which was fine, but the person left to cover for her walked by all her tables several times and never filled up drinks. Fortunately the beverages were close to our table so I got up and served us and a few guests around us.

Atmosphere

The best part of the Brunch is the location. The history and architecture of the Mission Inn is amazing. Staying at the Mission Inn is a wonderful experience and we were disappointed that the brunch was not one of the highlights.
